Our Local is a unique and dynamic collective of workers from both City of Dawson and the Government of the Yukon. We haven't met in a while thanks to COVID-19 but we need to get together to run elections and plan for the next year. 

Our YG workers are entering bargaining soon and will want to begin considering bargaining input.  As well, we can talk about our priorities and possible submissions to the virtual YEU Triennial Convention this fall. Over the next few months, we will select our delegates to the YEU convention and discuss any resolutions we may wish to send to the committee for debate.

Local Y043 is still fairly new, and we need to work together to keep our union presence solid in this community. The union is only as strong as we make it- we are the union.
