What makes a great Shop Steward mentor — and how can mentorship help you grow as a new Steward?

Join YEU's Shop Steward Coordinator for this month's Shop Steward Roundtable as we explore the value of mentorship and the important role experienced Stewards can play in supporting those who are new to the role.

Whether you're an experienced Shop Steward interested in becoming a mentor, a current mentor looking to strengthen your mentoring skills, or a new Shop Steward wanting to get the most out of your mentorship, this session will offer something for you.

We'll discuss practical approaches to building a strong mentor-mentee relationship, sharing knowledge and experience without simply providing the answers, knowing when to step in and when to let a new Steward take the lead, and helping build confidence along the way.

Come ready to share your experiences, ask questions, and pick up some practical tools for building stronger Stewards — and a stronger Shop Steward network.

This round table is open to Shop Stewards and all YEU members. Coffee/Tea and light snacks will be provided.
