There is a Territorial election on April 12, municipal elections in the fall, and a federal election that can happen any time as we are in a minority government situation. While voting is an important expression of your political rights, it is not the only one. Whether you work for a government at any level or not, you have the right to express yourself politically, from running for office to campaigning to putting up a lawn sign. Union members must also be mindful of employer policies but our Charter rights to political activity and expression are paramount.
