Is fairness at work important to you? Are you interested in learning more about your rights and benefits and sharing your knowledge with your co-workers? If so, then we want you as a Shop Steward! Shop Stewards are the representatives of YEU in the workplace. This day and a half course provides you as a new Steward with skills and tools to support members and build the union. You will further develop your skills in communication problem solving, understanding the collective agreement and supporting members through the informal and formal stages of the grievance and discipline processes. All YEU training is free and members attending courses continue to get paid.
