YG members - Understanding the Collective Agreement (Course full!)

The Collective Agreement is the most important document in a union member's working life but for most of us, navigating the complex wording in the Collective Agreement can be a challenge.

Enhance your understanding of this important document in our one-day workshop. Get to know some of its key provisions using an easy, four-step approach to collective agreement interpretation. Using case studies, you will practice applying the collective agreement to real workplace situations.

Any member who works for the government of Yukon can take this course on paid union leave. All YG Shop Stewards and supervisors are strongly encouraged to take this workshop.

Click here for some pre-course reading (not mandatory, but very helpful).

Registration deadline is January 13th.

If you're not a YG member or can't make it to the course but you'd like to learn more, we encourage you to start with Understanding the Collective Agreement offered online through the Public Service Alliance of Canada.
