One of the most rewarding roles of a Shop Steward is talking to new employees about our union. Whether you have 5 minutes or 30 minutes, you want to connect, engage and inform new members about the union. Some may not know much about unions, some may have some misconceptions. Come out to our Round Table this month to learn how to have an effective conversation and how to answer some typical questions that new members may have. All welcome.
YEU members are entitled to paid leave from work in order to attend union training.
