Yukoners enjoy a good quality of life thanks to public services. We know we can count on public services to be accountable, accessible, locally-controlled and a wise investment of public funds.

Privatization of public services undermines these community values. Contracting-out usually means our work goes to workers who earn lower wages and have fewer benefits. This increases inequality in our society.
