At the YEU Triennial Convention in October, delegates passed a formal resolution demanding that Yukon Employees' Union show our solidarity with the besieged people of Palestine through communication and education.
To further that commitment, we invite you to participate in an online workshop designed to empower us in our stand against oppression, apartheid, and genocide.
Please join us Thursday, February 15th at 5:30 pm for an online teach-in about Palestine, why it matters to us as workers, and what we as workers and trade unionists can do to support the struggle for Palestine liberation.
The teach-in will build participants' confidence to talk about Palestine as a workers' issue and will equip them with tools to take action on Palestine in our union.
