Are you currently the employee representative on your workplace Health and Safety Committee?
This course is especially for you! It is an online course over 2 days that will give you the knowledge and skills to be an effective member of the Committee.
Evert Ryland, the Health and Safety Representative for the PSAC North region, will guide your discussions through the legislation, policies, and the functioning of an effective health and safety committee. Practical exercises with other HSC members will make for a rich learning experience.
Workers and unions fought hard for safety and well-being at work for everyone. Your work on Health and Safety Committees is an important continuation of this legacy.
If you are not currently a member of the Committee at your workplace but would like to get involved and take this training, please contact the Employee Co-chair of the Committee and try to be added (the maximum number of Committee members is 12). Then register for this course along with other Employee representatives.
