Members of the Yukon Employees' Union (YEU) were proud to be among the thousands of workers who attended the Canadian Labour Congress' 30th Constitutional Convention in Montreal from May 8 to May 12, 2023.
During the convention, Yukon members participated in educational sessions, special interest caucuses, and debates on the future of Canadian labor. They also had the opportunity to connect with workers from across the country and engage in discussions about charting a path towards a brighter future with secure jobs, fair benefits, and true reconciliation with Indigenous peoples.
The connections made at the convention will benefit all attendees for years to come as they work towards building a better future for themselves, their loved ones, and their communities. The power of unions to lift everyone up was evident at the convention, and YEU members are proud to be part of this movement.
Let's celebrate the work done at #CLC2023 and continue to build a better future together.
