Are you currently the employee representative on your workplace Health and Safety Committee? Join us in this series of 4 online sessions that will give you the knowledge and skills to be an effective member of the Committee.

Each session will be facilitated by Evert Ryland, the Health and Safety Representative for the PSAC North region. He will guide you through the legislation, policies, and the functioning of an effective health and safety committee. Practical exercises with other members will make for a rich learning experience.

Workers fought hard for safety and well-being at work for everyone. Your work on Health and Safety Committees is an important continuation of this legacy.

If you are not currently a member of the Committee at your workplace but want to get involved and take the training, contact the Employee Co-chair of the Committee and try to be added (the maximum number of Committee members is 12). Then register for this course along with another Employee Representative.
