At this Round Table, we will explore all things language rights in the workplace. More specifically, what does the law say? And as a steward, how do we navigate concerns being brought to us regarding language rights. 

This round table is open to Shop Stewards living and working in the communities. For Stewards in Whitehorse, please attend the in-person Roundtable on June 18th.

All YEU education is free, and if you are scheduled to work during a course, you can apply for Union Leave as a Shop Steward. Please use this form to send us the approved leave from your employer. Depending on your Collective Agreement, your wages will either remain uninterrupted by your Employer when you attend, or the YEU will have a cheque with your pre deductions wages.
