The Component Executive consists of a President, 1st Vice-President, 2nd Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Youth Director, Equal Opportunities Director and six other Directors. The Executive is the governing body of the Component between conventions. It meets monthly to discuss and implement programs and policies to support its membership.
Most members of the YEU Executive are assigned Locals for which they act as liaison officer, attending monthly meetings and serving as the contact for the Local’s executive members.
An extensive committee structure provides additional support for our members. Many YEU Executive members participate on one or more of these committees.
The Component's Triennial Convention
held in October
2008, elected the current Executive. They will serve until the fall of
2011.
