The budget announced by the Harper government did nothing to alleviate the threat to public service pensions. It merely delayed that action, replacing the direct assault on pensions by wage freezes.
The issue is still very much alive. Workers must not become complacent about pension security. PSAC is still calling on all members to sign the petition to Prime Minister Harper. If you have not already done so, a direct link to the on-line version is presented below.
